The 8035 ZTS mini excavator from JCB, Pooler, Ga., features a 31.6-hp Perkins engine. The engine is mounted to a stable undercarriage that is matched to the excavator’s dig envelope. The undercarriage and dozer blade on the 8,049-lb. mini excavator are designed to ensure that debris doesn’t build up underneath or in front of the machine. The machine features a  two-speed tracking motor, providing a top tracking speed of 2.6 mph, and has single-acting auxiliary pipework and rubber tracks as standard. Additional tie down points make it easier to strap the machine onto trailers. The excavator is designed so that the oil can be checked from ground level. The fuel filter system features a combined sedimenter, filter and primer allowing operators to prime the system if it runs out of fuel.
